Professional: Brek is currently the Director of EMS for MedFire Emergency Management, Firefighter/ Paramedic for Helmet Peak Fire Dept., EMS Instructor at PSESI/Pima Community College, HS/Collegiate Baseball Umpire and Basketball Referee, Certified Personal Trainer, and the CEO/President of Freeflying Media.
Personal: Brek is married and a rare, true Tucson native. He is finishing his degree in EMS at the University of Arizona and plans to continue towards his Master’s in Sports & Rec Leadership graduate work. He loves spending time with his husband, traveling, being outdoors, going to the theater, and giving back to the community. He enjoys teaching and mentoring in all aspects of his life. “We never stop learning!”
Fun Fact: He’s a first responder, stroke survivor, sports official, and enjoys skydiving as a meditative outlet, crazy, right?! “Nothing in the world like skydiving!”
